These swatches are pretty thick but you get the idea of color.  They sheer out beautifully and blend nicely.

For a one stop shop palette, my absolute favorite thing in the world is the Sedona Lace 28 blush palette.  This palette has colors that are very similar to all the colors above and you get many options.

I botched a wee bit on the middle finger but that was not the nails fault that was a user error for sure..

I ended up taking the nail dress of my right pointer finger so that the zebra was on all fingers between my two hands.. I was trying to be cool and random but my OCD refused to allow it.

The size of the pencil is very large and so detail work or adding a color in a small area is very difficult.

Final thoughts:

This is an amazing product and I definitely recommend.  I love to throw these on and run out the door or use them as a great base under shadows.

The ones I picked from my collection run the gammet from $1 and up, but they all come pretty close to the effect you get from Stila’s Kitten. Let swatchfest commence…

The first set are Honey Spice from Mary Kay and the color Sunstone from the Bridgette palette available from Sedona Lace.

The second set are the eyelid shade from the Wet N Wild Walking on Eggshells palette, LA Colors single eyeshadow in beige, and LA Colors 5 color metallic palette in Darling (the color is marked).

Lastly, I have two Mineral eyeshadows from ELF, they are Elegant and Natural.

I’ve given this a real good go and if you’d like to know my full review keep reading.

The package comes with your razor handle, a shower storage hook, and an individually packed 5 blade razor.  Which is really handy to keep your extra razors dry even if you store them in your shower.  The razor starter kit cost between $8.99-$10.99 and include everything listed above and a 3 pack of replacement blades cost between$14.99 – $19.49.

The way the package opens is pretty spiffy too, no fumbling with opening it or looking for scissors.  It may seem like a minor plus, but I noticed it so it must have been important.

The hook is a suction cup backed hook, so you can place it anywhere in the shower.

The individually wrapped razor heads.

Here is the razor head attached to the handle.  The top and bottom are gel pads of Olay moisturizers.  They are bendy so they really glide over your skin.

Here is the entire system stuck in my shower.

Pros:

very close shave

very moisturizing, I didn’t feel as though I needed lotion after my shower

convenient packaging

hook for shower is very nice

glides effortlessly and releases so much moisture it almost eliminates the need for shave gel. (I didn’t try this)

Cons:

After two uses the bottom Olay moisturizer “pad” unattached itself and so I lost half my moisturizers. Which was kind of a bummer.

All in all, I think this razor is a great buy and a great razor.  I will be repurchasing razor refills in the future.

The Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre can be found at Ulta and Sephora and of course online as well.  It retails for around $16.  I got mine at Ulta.com.  It’s a very thin liquid with a massive amount of glitter suspended in it.    I shake mine up before each use and it is dispensed with a dropper.  A very, very tiny amount goes a very long way.  You can use this alone or as a topper over eyeshadow.

The NYX can be found at Ulta and online as well as many separate retailers. I received mine in my My Glam bag for February.  It retails for around $4.50.  It is in a roller ball format and comes out very easily and pigmented.   It can be used alone or over eyeshadows as well.  The color is called Platinum.

Here they are swatched next to each other.  I did not think the camera picked up the colors as accurately as I would have liked.  I think the Lorac has a slight bit more of a gold shimmer in it then the NYX Platinum.

I wanted to show you the effect when layered over an eyeshadow.  I used the Maybelline 24 hr Color Tattoo (Review with swatches coming soon! It’s been requested and it’s done I just need to get it posted!!) in the color Tenacious Teal.

I then put a thin layer of each product over the eyeshadow.

I hope this helps, if you have been looking for a glitter top coat for your shadows or just something to up your sparkle factor like I am constantly doing.  For 1/3 the price the NYX is a great option and is very easy to use. The Lorac is an amazing product and gives a lot of bang without using much product.  This $16 product will last me a very, very long time.  I am glad I own both.
